The Beekeepers Association runs weekend beekeeping workshops in our Bee Garden at The Sustainable City.
From learning about the role of the honey bee in nature to handling and developing basic beekeeping skills, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience these amazing insects up close!

You also have the option to engage in a hands-on activity and make a take home creation. Add  candle making or lip balm making for a richer experience. Our activities are much loved by children and parents!

​Adults and children over 4 are permitted. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a paid adult.

The Beekeepers Association charges a small fee per person to cover materials and time. 100% of the proceeds goes directly to the Beekeepers Association to further future education initiatives.
